This had been a very meaningful and 'full-filling' birthday that I have ever celebrated. It started with a dinner @ Brewerks with my dear 老婆. She treated me sial...lol. The food was quite nice and had a nice ambience too. Together with gd quality beer, it was almost perfect..haha.. The best food of the night gotta be the mussels. It was nice and soft, easy to shallow also. Haha!! Here are some pics of the food.

After finishing dinner (with a rather full stomach because of gulping down 2 1/2 glasses of beer), we went straight back to hall. Little do I know that my dear had other activities for me. KL, BG and BL all hid in the room to give me a surprise. Not a pleasant surprise though when I saw what's coming up. They actually prepare 24 汤圆for me to finish. I say, WTH!! haha...The 汤圆are those with fillings inside and it was freaking big!! With my full stomach, I tried as hard as I could to finish what they specially prepare for me. I did finish 23 of them with my dear helping me with 1 of those. Wah lau, super full la!! (Remember I mentioned about my full stomach) The 'filling' feeling lasted till 4pm next day then ease off. They also gotten me an adidas shoes, told me that it's from Malaysia and cost 80 RM..blah blah blah!! There were actually 2nd part of the story which I will explain later...
Yesterday, my HR group mates (Lishan, Kat, Yvonne, Loy yong and dear) went out on a 'spending spree' on a buffet. We went to the Ellenborough Market Cafe @ Swissotel Merchant Court for dinner. It was rather nice and my second time there since army days. Each of us had fun and nice food for that. We spend about 32 bucks for each person, which is rather cheap, thanks to the dining privileges from the UOB card that Lishan had. Then unknowingly, they actually bought a muffin from starbucks to celebrate my bdae!!! Haha, I was damn surprised man. Never thought of celebrating my bdae in a hotel!! lol..Thanks guys!!! Really appreciate the thoughts!!

Soon after that, we went on our separate ways as there is still work the next day. I didn't think much about it and thought that my bdae had ended on a high note. But when I opened the door to my room, I was damn shocked. So many ppl gathered inside the room liao, same as the day before. This time, Jac, YM and AL added to the 3 yesterday. Haha!! Damn 感动!! Saw the cake from Hans and the candles made me nearly wanna cry man!! LOL!! It was good to see so many gd friends gathered to celebrate my bdae. Next up is something that I never expected!! They said the Adidas shoes that they gave me yesterday was actually Ah bee's one and mine was a NIKE outdoor sneakers that I said I liked it on Friday when I saw in Cineleisure. I was like, OMG!! They really buy that for me? It costs a freaking $120 loh!! My 老婆 is the mastermind of everything la!! lol...Little did I expect I will spend such a meaningful bdae and I think this is the best bdae that I had ever spent.

With that, I would like to thank many of my friends who remember my birthday and give me their wishes, especially those who did all the preparation for the celebration: BG - for collecting cake when on mc, BL - for cooking the 汤圆, KL - for 'kaypohing' and refuse to 'chap' in for ideas to 'torture' me..lol, Ah bee - for lending his shoes to trick me..lol, AL - for making his way back to hall for my celebration, Jac and YM - for their presence yesterday for my birthday, Miss Tan - for the present (candy) and wishes, HR friends - for celebrating my bdae in the hotel, my family - for buying the mango cake..lol. Last but not least, my 老婆 - for doing many things and spending a lot of money on me for my birthday!! Thank you all!!
